Water, water everywhere…

We live on a planet that is unique and unlike any other in our Solar System.

Almost all of the surface of our planet is water.

There are about 330 trillion gallons of water on planet Earth and Ninety-seven percent of that vast amount is salt water.

That only leaves three percent of fresh water and nearly eighty percent of that is frozen in the polar ice caps and glaciers around the globe.

So what we have left is less than one percent of all of the available fresh water on the planet for people, plants and animals to use, and to sustain us throughout our busy lives.

No life form on this planet can exist without water. Even 75% - 95% of the weight of the mightiest cactus from the driest deserts can be attributed to stored water.

Over 70% of your body is comprised of this life giving substance. It may not seem like it but water is the most necessary nutrient of them all - so necessary that people can not live longer than a few days without it. Your body is, in essence is no more than a pile of chemicals and a big bag of water.

Let’s look at how water keeps you eau so beautiful!

We know that water is the main ingredient in our bodies but what does it do?

Water makes up most of the fluids that travel through your body, carrying nutrients and waste to and from your cells and organs. Your brain, your heart, your liver, your eyes, your intestines and even your ears needs water based fluids to survive.

The main ingredient of blood which is pumped around your veins is water and your lymphatic system needs plenty of water to perform correctly.

The role of water in our metabolism, the absorption of nutrients, regulation of body temperature and nourishment of body tissue is critical.

Breathing, digestion, elimination, glandular actives, heat dissipation, and secretion are properly performed only when enough water is present in the body.

When we get thirsty it is our bodies way of telling us we have lost a mere1% of the water that we have in our cells, our blood and other lubricants.

If we ignore this signal then we will inevitably suffer from one or more side effects - headaches, tiredness or poor concentration to name just a few.

Most of us then reach for a ‘nice cup’ of tea or coffee to help our situation.

Unfortunately tea or coffee normally contains caffeine. This is a stimulant and may make us feel better for a short time, but caffeine is also a diuretic and that helps us lose even more water, so we are compounding the problem rather than relieving it.

The root of many of our health problems is that we are not drinking enough good clean water. Don’t take our word for it, read Dr Batmangheldij book “Your Body’s Many Cries for Water”. For more information, visit Dr Batmangheldij’s website.
